My coaching philosophy is rooted in my passion for running and a genuine understanding of the challenges runners face. I know that making the most of your training time is essential, but I also believe in the importance of truly enjoying the journey of running!
Success in running requires consistency, patience, and a balanced perspective on training. I believe that these principles can significantly enhance your enjoyment of running and help you perform better, regardless of your age, ability, or background.
Your training will be tailored to fit around any busy life and work commitments. My objective as a coach is to create an experience in which you are receiving guidance and support at every stage to help you meet your running, fitness, or race objectives.
My running journey began in secondary school and has profoundly shaped my life. During a school race, I encountered an inspirational club coach who encouraged me to join the local running club.
Over 30 years later, that pivotal moment continues to energize my passion for running. For the past decade, I have been a member of Reading Roadrunners, serving as club captain and lead-coach every Wednesday night.
My passion for running remains unwavering, whether on the roads, tackling shorter distances, or embracing the challenge of marathons.
So far I have been fortunate to run in six London marathons and marathons in New York, Manchester, Brighton, and Edinburgh, alongside other races in Norway, Holland, Spain, Italy, and the United States.
