Preparing for a specific event? Start to Finish Running provides event specific training plans designed to get you race-ready. Whether it’s a first time 5K or a marathon, our structured approach ensures that you’ll peak at just the right time. 

Let us help you perform your best on race day with a well-crafted training programme. 

Standard Monthly Plan

  • Begin your journey with a detailed consultation that uncovers your running history and sets inspiring goals.   
  • A personalised monthly training plan, using Final Surge. customised to your own chosen goals.   
  • Regular weekly contact through WhatsApp and email .
  • A monthly phone, or video call to discuss your progress.   
  • Fortnightly training plan updates available upon request or as needed   
  • Support for pre-race preparation and a post-race review
  • Monthly rolling payment.  
  • £50 per month (4 weeks)

Premium Monthly Plan

  • Connect without limits through WhatsApp, phone, or online video call as we discuss your progress, along with email support.  
  • Experience the flexibility of unlimited updates to your training plan, ensuring it evolves with your needs, whether facing challenges like illness or injury.

Event specific training plans

  • 12 ,16 or 20 weeks training plan personalised for a specific event that you are looking to run.
  • This can be any distance from 5km up to full marathon.
  • Perfect if you are doing an event for the first time or if you are looking to improve your personal best.
  • Standard: 12 week plan - £150, 16 week plan - £200
  • Premium: 16 week plan - £300,  20 week plan - £375

I have been coached by Jamie for the last couple of years and have followed a bespoke plan provided by him for my last two marathons.

Jamie’s approach to coaching is anything but cookie cutter. He creates a bespoke plan based on what I can reasonably fit in around working full time and is flexible in switching things around when life (& my holidays) gets in the way. He is there to listen to my worries and concerns and asks for a lot of feedback on how runs have felt, both mentally and physically, to gauge my progress. He helps me see the positives in all training even if I am being too hard on myself and pushes me to reach my goals even if they seem a bit crazy at the outset. 


His advice, gained through years of experience in running and competing, is invaluable and has meant that I have turned up that start line of races knowing I’ve given myself the best possible chance of hitting my targets. Whether it be race or fuelling strategies I feel prepared and trust his coaching.  

I am looking forward to continuing my coaching with Jamie as I train for my next marathon in 2025.
